Description:
We are looking for a dynamic intern to assist us in supporting and developing our College Counseling office at La Perouse.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Working with Naviance software to input, update, and maintain student college information
Updating the College Counseling Handbook
Assisting students in finding and applying to scholarships, summer programs, and competitions.
Assisting students in creating a college list.
Assisting students in SAT?ACT, SAT subject test and AP test preparation
Assisting students in their goals for the Congressional Award Program

Our Students:
Interns will have a chance to work with non-traditional and traditional college applicants, as well as gain experience in working with international students. (All courses at the Lycee Francais La Perouse are taught in French, except for US History and English.  Knowledge of French is NOT required for the internship; all our students speak English. The student body consists of international students (mostly French), and traditional US students.  YOU WILL BE WORKING WITH STUDENTS IN ENGLISH, NOT IN FRENCH.
