ACCOMMODATION AT MSU
You have choices for accommodations at MSU! They will be available on a first come first served basis. IMPORTANT! Please make any requests you have for housing in the comments section of the registration form.
The Kellogg Center Hotel and Conference Center will be the hub for our conference sessions. This is a full service hotel also offering free parking. We have reserved space for at least 150 guests in air-conditioned double rooms . If you have a desired roommate, please put his/her name in the comments section of the registration form and we will do our best to match requested roommates up.
The University Village Apartments are a new complex (about a 10 minute walk) from the Kellogg Center and the Brody Complex where we will have breakfast. We have reserved 13 air-conditioned apartments, each of which will house 4 people in single bedrooms attached to a common lounge area. This is ideal for those of you who are traveling with or meeting up with friends who you would like to room near.
Finally, we have reserved rooms in Butterfield Hall which is in the Brody Complex where breakfast is served. This is directly across from the Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center. We have 60 air-conditioned double rooms; we also have additional double rooms available which are not air-conditioned. If you would like to “Go Green” and have a non-air conditioned room, please let us know! The average temperatures in the Greater Lansing area in mid-July range from the upper 70’s into the 80’s. It is a beautiful time to visit.
The cost of rooms will be $55/night/person. If you are housed in a non-air-conditioned room, the cost will be $40/night/person and we will send you a check if you paid more.
